Vancouver - Burnstone Ventures Inc. ("Burnstone" or the "Company") reports that it has filed an updated National Instrument 43-101 (the "NI 43-101") Technical Report on SEDAR. As previously announced by news release dated May 12, 2013, the report is being filed at the request of the British Columbia Securities Commission (the "BCSC").
All items of the report, and not just the section dealing specifically with the mineral resource estimate, was prepared by, or under the supervision of Qualified Persons Rex James Johnson and Ronald G. Simpson, who are independent of the Company within the meaning of NI-43-101.
The BCSC identified that in the Company's website disclosures, fact sheet, corporate presentation and MD&A, the Company has not identified and disclosed the relationship to the Company of the qualified person who prepared or supervised the preparation of the technical information it is disclosing. As a result, the Company corrected this oversight and this information is now included in the Company's website, corporate presentation, applicable statutory filings and other investor relations materials.
