Stratton Resources announces that it has relinquished its option to the MAC property, located in central British Columbia. There was no significant work conducted on the project in the previous year and it was no longer considered material to the Company although the Company will write-off approximately $15 million in acquisition and exploration expenses related to the MAC project.

Stratton Resources is pleased to announced the results of an initial National Instrument 43-101 mineral resource estimate for the Camp Zone at the MAC Molybdenum-Copper Project located in central British Columbia. Indicated Resources of 70.4 million tonnes at 0.063% Molybdenum ("Mo") and 0.10% Copper ("Cu") or a grade of 0.352% Copper Equivalent1 ("Cu eq") at a cut-off grade of 0.035% Mo.

Stratton Resources reports that, subject to regulatory approval, it has granted 200,000 incentive stock options to employees of the Company, exercisable at a price of $0.42 per share for a period of five years from the date of grant. Any shares issued under the option grant will be subject to a four-month hold period from the date of granting, pursuant to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
