LONDON, 18 June 2010 - Further to the announcement dated 10 June 2010, European
Nickel PLC ("European Nickel" or the "Company") (AIM, PLUS: ENK) announces that
the Company has today posted to shareholders the Unaudited Interim Results for
the period ended 31 March 2010.  A copy of the Unaudited Interim Results is
available on the Company website.

The Company also announces that the second tranche of the placing announced
yesterday has been completed and 96,057,000 ordinary shares of 1p each have been
allotted and issued raising approximately US$10 million (£6.7 million).
